Learn more about your bots power
Explore the commands your bot knows, how you can manage your communities and make your bot customisable to your needs.
We have useful commands that you can use to manage your channels and groups.
These commands are strictly for Admin’s of the group, so if you’re not the original creator or an Admin in the Group you will not be able to use them.
These commands will also not work in groups not added to your dashboard on MYM.
What if the User does not have a Username? – If the user does not have a username on Telegram you can use their ID.
You can get their ID from the dashboard on the Users Page.
Kick
You can kick someone by typing @ in a group, tapping the person and then adding kick after.
For example @username kick
A Kick will permanantely remove them from the specific group you used the command.
If they try to rejoin, new links will not be generated and they’ll only be able to join your other groups.
This is a useful command to regulate your community.
Unkick
You can also unkick people who have been kicked from a group. This works the same as kick but with unkick instead of kick. It will unkick them from the group/channel you type it in.
For example @username unkick
If you want to unkick them from multiple groups/channels, use the below command:
@username unban
Once unkicked the user will be notified and will be able to rejoin the previously blocked group.
Remove
For the more serious rule breakers, such as promoters, member stealers and competition you can use the remove command.
For example @username remove
This will completely remove them from every group, ban them and cancel their subscription. If they try to rejoin, they will not get any group links, so it is impossible for them to rejoin.
Unban
This does not reinstate cancelled subscription.
This command will unban someone from every group. If they have an active subscription they can rejoin all groups again by typing /groups
For example @username unban
These are commands that can be used by your community.
They only work when interacting in a private chat with your bot.
Subscription or Login
This command will allow the user to see current subscriptions you have for offer.
If they have already signed up for a subscription previously they will instead be given a code to login to the website, which redirects to their My Account dashboard where they can resubscribe.
They can also order a new subscription from the website if they would prefer to.
Groups
This will give them new links to each group and channel. These are one time links that expire once they join.
If they type Groups they will be removed from all groups for security purposes. We want group links to only be one use and do not want people sharing links.
Should anyone share a link to an unregistered or unsubscribed member they will be immediately removed.
We have implemented a firewall through the bot that scans every new member who joined your groups and channels.
Unlink
If you have a subscriber who changed their phone number, they can use the unlink command to remove their old phone number from their account.
Simply do /unlink (emailaddress)
They will then be send a unique 6 digit code to their email address which they type into the bot, on success, their old number will be detached and their new number will be attached.
Swap
A user can swap their Telegram account to a new account they have registered with.
In rare occassions this can be useful if they have signed up with a new account and forgot their old account.
To use this command they will type /swap newemail
They can only swap their account if they are not a subscriber on their current account and have purchased a subscription on a new unvacant account.
Anyone who has been blacklisted will not be able to swap accounts.
Most of the Admin configuration is done through the dashboard portal.
You can access the dashboard portal after you have setup your bot by typing /admin
Doing so will give you a brief rundown of your bot, checkout and subscribers.
You’ll also be able to tap the button to instantly login to your dashboard and setup subscriptions, sales, coupons, broadcasts and so much more!
You can setup custom commands in the backend.
Click the Advanced Settings section on the Bot Setup page.
Through here you can setup a Trigger and a Response.
You can add unlimited custom commands, specific to your industry and business. You can link custom pages from your website here or important documents.
You could also link them to your username on Telegram to get into further contact.
If you want to add people to your groups without having them pay for their subscription you can setup a lifetime coupon.
Limit the coupon to as many people as you want, then send them the coupon and ask them to sign up to any subscription.
They will not have to enter any payment details. Simply use the below layout to setup a lifetime subscription.
100% Recurring for Unlimited Renewals
Your bot will automatically manage your members based on their subscription.
If they have an Active subscription they will be able to join groups easily.
What if an Active Subscriber cancels?
The bot will allow them to stay in the groups until their next payment is due, once due they will be removed from the groups, their subscription will be cancelled and they will be notified of this.
What if a Subscribers renewal payment fails?
They will be removed from the bot and notified of this through email and through the bot directly.
They can then resubscribe by typing /subscriptions logging into their My Account Dashboard and paying what is due.
Once done the bot will immediately send new links for them to join and remove any previous bans.
You can match subscriptions to specific groups easily.
Simply go to the Bot Setup page and click Additional Settings, tick Yes for “Configure Group Access per Subscription” and then head over to your Products & Subscriptions on your dashboard.
This way you can have a subscription just for one group and another subscription for another group, allowing you to have more flexible control over access privelleges per subscriber.
(By default any subscription gives access to all groups)
